Culpitt Select Swiss Meringue Buttercream Mix is made in the UK from high quality ingredients to produce a light and fluffy textured buttercream with a vanilla flavour. This mix is the perfect blend of ingredients to help save time spent on decorating.

Instructions for use: Place 500g of soft butter into the bowl of a food mixer fitted with a beater. Beat until light and fluffy on a medium to high speed for approximately 5-6 mins. Add 500g of Swiss meringue buttercream mix and beat on a slow speed until fully combined and blended in.

Slowly, over approximately 4 mins on medium speed, add 270g of tepid water, beating until fully combined. At this stage, it is possible to add food colours or flavours to the mix to personalise.

Beat on top speed for a further 5 minutes until the product reaches its peak and looks silky smooth in appearance.

Handy Tips: For best results always use at room temperature. If kept in the fridge overnight, gradually bring back to room temperature before mixing, otherwise the mix may separate. If this happens, simply warm up the curdled Swiss meringue buttercream in the microwave in 4 second blasts until it has all softened together, then beat on high speed until mix has blended and looks silky smooth.
