UK Delivery Surcharge - April 2026

Why is a delivery surcharge added to my UK order?
Due to the current volatility in fuel prices, charges from our courier and delivery companies are increasing. The costs of delivering your order are going up. 

Rather than increasing the cost of delivery, we have decided a small surcharge is a fair and flexible way for us to manage the charges so we can keep your deliveries running as competitively and smoothly as possible.

Will there always be a surcharge added in the future?
Our plan is that the surcharge remains in place only whilst we are experiencing increases and volatility in fuel pricing from our delivery providers. Whilst no business welcomes costs going up, we understand that the increases imposed on us are unavoidable, but we also anticipate they will be temporary. Therefore, we expect our surcharge will be a temporary measure too.

Will the surcharge always be the same amount?
No. The surcharge may go up or down in line with prices imposed by the courier and delivery companies.

My order qualifies for free delivery; do I still need to pay the surcharge?
Yes. The surcharge goes towards the increased cost imposed by the delivery companies which affects every order, regardless of size. This additional cost is not currently factored into our standard free delivery calculation model, which we still want to offer to our customers.

I'm paying for Next Day / Express Delivery; do I still need to pay the surcharge?
Yes. The surcharge goes towards the increased cost imposed by the delivery companies which affects every order regardless of timeframe for delivery, so it is added to all standard and next day / express orders. This additional cost is not currently factored into our express delivery calculation model, which we still want to offer to our customers.

How can I reduce my costs?
Our free delivery thresholds remain amongst the lowest in the industry and you qualify for free delivery based on total order spend. Consider placing a bigger order to meet the threshold rather than multiple small orders that incur delivery charges each time.

What is the free delivery threshold? 
Orders over £95 (excl. VAT) qualify for free standard delivery to mainland UK addresses. For non-mainland UK addresses, orders over £150 qualify for free standard delivery.
